LBX Tactical, a division (or subsidiary) of London Bridge Trading Inc. (LBT), showed a very interesting BDU (Battle Dress Uniform) consisting of the LBX-0080A-CAIMAN Assaulter Camouflage Combat Shirt and LBX-0081A-CAIMAN Assaulter Camouflage Combat Pant. Both products featured the HyperStealth Caiman foliage green/arid digital combat camo (camouflage) pattern by HyperStealth Biotechnology Corp., but two additional patterns, HyperStealth Inland Taipan desert pattern and HyperStealth Snow Raptor arctic pattern, are also available. The combat shirt and pants also come with the following respective features:
“- Jersey knit center body w/ 65/35 poly/cotton ripstop sleeves
– Hook and Loop side sleeve zipper pockets w/ hook and loop area for patches
– Adjustable hook and loop wrist opening”
“- 65/35 Poly Cotton Ripstop
– Ripstop combat pant w/ reinforced seat patch
– Zip fly w/ snap closure
– Dual front utility pockets
– Two (2) deep side cargo pockets w/ hook and loop closure and bellowed side gussets
– Dual layered reinforced knees w/ hook and loop closure for optional knee pad insert
– Two (2) low leg ancillary pockets”
Bo Stewart of LBT and LBX was kind enough to take DefenseReview (DR) through the LBX-0080A-CAIMAN Assaulter Camouflage Combat Shirt and LBX-0081A-CAIMAN Assaulter Camouflage Combat Pant at SHOT Show 2016, and DR liked what we saw. The products looked pretty good to us, and we particularly liked the minimalist approach. According to Stewart, the HyperStealth Caiman combat camo pattern, after “a lot of studies”, “tested off the chart. As far as how this pattern works and the environment it’s supposed to be in, this pattern did very, very well.”
DR has no idea, as yet, how well-made the Assaulter combat shirt and pants are, but they look well-made at first glance.
Editor’s Note: That skateboard in the background of the video (see below) also looked pretty good to us, since we also happen to like skateboards, here.
