As long as we’re talking about fast-attack vehicles, or FAV’s, we should perhaps also discuss the RP Advanced Mobile Systems (RPAMS) Can-Am Strike-M4 SXS UTV/LTV FAV (Fast-Attack Vehicle) DefenseReview (DR) got to examine at NDIA SOFIC 2015 (Special Operations Forces Industry Conference 2015), which can seat four (4) assaulters/operators in racing-type seats with 4-point harnesses, and can hit almost 80 mph for fast infil and exfil (infiltration and exfiltration). The passenger compartment offers multiple places in the cabin to strap-in weaons (M4A1 Carbines, for example), including on the ceiling, and the flatbed at the rear can carry an injured operator on a stretcher and a seat for the medic, in case a medevac (medical evacuation) is required.
Being an all-terrain/off-road dune-buggy/Baja-racing-type fast-attack vehicle, the RPAMS Strike-M4 fast-attack vehicle is outfitted with a high-performance suspension system with special shock aborbers and run-flat tires. The seat backs are even recessed so the operators inside can keep their combat packs (backpacks) on while they’re riding in the vehicle. The Strike-M4 even comes with a swing-arm machine gun mount on the front passenger side, the one in the photos sports a Kryptek arid/desert combat camouflage paint scheme.
Like the previously-discussed Polaris Defense DAGOR Ultra-Light Combat Vehicle (ULCV), the Strike-M4 FAV would appear to be air-transportable and air-droppable.
