As it turns out, the Harvester muzzle cans weren’t the only interesting items DefenseReview (DR) saw and handled at the Silencerco booth at SHOT Show 2014. Mike Aland also showed us a very cool ZEV Technologies GlockWORX Custom Glock 17 (G17) 9mm Parabellum/9x19mm NATO pistol outfitted with a Trijicon RMR Dual-Illumination Sight mini-red dot sight/reflex sight and a Silencerco Osprey 9 pistol silencer/suppressor, which is an angular brick-type rectangular suppressor designed and developed for 9mm pistols/handguns. This particular gun is actually the Silencerco Osprey 9 poster gun.

The pistol’s custom-cut slide looked similar to a GlockWORX Dragonfly Cut Signature Slide, but the rectangular side cuts were only partial and didn’t go all the way through the slide wall like on the Dragonfly series. However, the side-top slide cuts did go all the way through, which you can see in one or more embedded photos and the video below.

We don’t yet know whether the aftermarket barrel is made in-house by ZEV Tech, or is a KKM Precision or Bar-Sto Precision Machine barrel. Whatever the case, it’s most-likely match-grade.

The gripframe sported a ZEV Tech Oversized/Extended Magazine Release Button, some nice stippling/texturizing, and either a ZEV Slim Magwell or ZEV Tech Speed Feed Magwell. We’re just not sure which. You can see what looks like a ZEV Tech GlockWORX +3 basepad on the mag in the gun.

However, logic and the red trigger safety lead us to believe that the GlockWORX G17 sported a ZEV Tech Fulcrum Fully-Adjustable Trigger assembly/group. Billed as the “finest match grade trigger available for the Glock”, the Fulcrum is a drop-in unit that’s both pre-travel and over-travel-adjustable on the trigger pad and pull weight. The Fulcrum’s ergonomic wide-face trigger pad is made from CNC billet aluminum, and the trigger safety is 3 times wider than the factory trigger safety and utilizes a real (metal) spring.

Anyway, the ZEV Tech GlockWORX custom Glock 17 pistol/Silencerco Osprey 9 suppressor combo looked really slick. DR likey!
