DefenseReview (DR) published articles on the VooDoo Innovations VDI Slayer and VDI Enforcer Glock 17 (G17) complete slide and barrel assemblies late last year, as we were impressed with them, particularly their good bang-for-the-buck aspect. The VDI Enforcer piece discussed an actual range T&E (Test and Evaluation) conducted by DR writer/contributor and chief new-product tester Jeff Gurwitch. Gurwitch experienced no malfunctions or jams, and particularly liked the slide and its trademark VDI serrations, and really liked it with Trijicon HD Night Sights. The VDI Enforcer G17 has since become Gurwitch’s favorite EDC (Every Day Carry) gun.

But maybe you don’t want to buy an entire VDI Enforcer or VDI Slayer complete pistol slide assembly. Maybe you wanto to build a personalized Glock-type pistol out from the ground up, piece by piece. Enter the VooDoo Innovations VDI G17 and G19 Brawler and VDI Enforcer Stripped Slide packages, the VDI Performance Guide Rod and Spring Kit G17 and G19 packages, and the patent-pending VDI Multigen Slide Adapter, which can all be purchased separately.

The VDI Multigen Slide Adapter is particularly interesting in that it allows VDI slides to be compatible with all generations of Glock frames (including Gen-3 and Gen-4 Glock frames). Pretty cool.
