Noted tactical shooting instructor and DefenseReview (DR) writer/contributor Mike Pannone, owner/operator of CTT Solutions, was kind enough to send DR some quick pics of himself running Bravo Company Manufacturing's (BCM) latest and greatest tactical AR (AR-15) carbine component/accessory coming soon to a dealer near you, the BCM KeyMod Handguard/Rail (KMR), at the range. The new KeyMod is an ultra-lightweight aluminum-magnesium alloy free-float modular rail system/tactical handguard that DR has just very recently seen and handled in person, and it's pretty damn awesome. It looks and feels pretty fantastic, is light as a feather, and is supposed to be combat-durable–AND it's a KeyMod rail, and KeyMod is the future. Bottom line, we were pretty blown away by it when we recently handled it (and photographed it) at BCM headquarters.

"So far it [BCM KMR] is the best rail out there. I want all my guns to have it eventually," says Pannone. Your humble correspondent is forced to concur with that assessment at the moment, since, as of this writing, no other rail we've seen incorporates as many of the design features and advantages as the BCM KeyMod Rail into one cohesive package. It's pretty damn sweet, actually, and is most likely going to sell like proverbial hotcakes. There's really nothing not to like on it, unless of course you just don't like cutting-edge, super-lightweight, modular, versatile and functional rail systems.

The icing on the cake is that BCM is a great company run by great people, starting with the guy at the top, Mr. Paul Buffoni.
