DefenseReview recently published an article on the GEN II SRSS BullDog762 bullpup M14/M1A 7.62mm NATO battle rifle going to combat in Stan (Afghanistan), and we’re currently waiting on a field report on it. In the meantime, Short Rifle Stock Systems Inc. (SRSS) has just released a short test/demonstration video on their GEN III (GEN 3) BullDog762 (7.62×51mm NATO/.308 Win.). The video features SRSS owner/president Sgt. Richard Cabral demo’ing the gun.

The GEN III SRSS BullDog762 bullpup stock system appears to feature more vent holes than the Gen II version for increased ventilation and heat dissipation.  The stock  system shown in the video is bare, uncoated aluminum.  Production BullDog 762 stock systems will obviously be coated in various colors like black, desert tan, etc.  Extraction and ejection look consistent. Ejection is to the right and slightly forward.

Notice the Grip Pod System vertical foregrip/bipod/weapon stabilization system mounted on the BullDog 762 (GEN III) in the video.
