3D Printing a Strike Industries SI Megafin Featureless Grip (MFG) for AR-15 and AK-47/AKM Rifle/Carbines

As long as we’re discussing Strike Industries (SI) products, we should probably quickly mention the company’s product design and 3D printing capabilities. DefenseReview (DR) is a big fan SI’s product designs AND 3D printing tech in general, so it was quite a treat for us to watch one of SI’s engineers 3D print a SI Megafin Featureless Grip (MFG) right in front of us at SI HQ during our visit, and then to see a 3D-printed MFG on an AK (AK-47/AKM), and an actual production MFG on an AR (AR-15). Technology’s a wonderful thing, and 3D-printing tech is particularly wonderful, as it’s going to assist in propelling us all into the future much more quickly (and easily). It’s a brave new world.

For the record, the whole purpose of the SI Megafin Featureless Grip is to allow California residents to comply with recently instituted legislation regulating semi-auto-only AR rifle/carbines, a rather unfortunate reality in Cali.
