S&S Precision usually has new and interesting products for military SOF (Special Operations Forces) assaulters/operators every time we see see them, and their new WetWorX Maritime Assault Gloves are certainly no exception. Basically, the they’re combat/tactical shooting gloves for the water, and they come in both warm weather AND cold weather variants. DefenseReview (DR) was actually surprised at how reasonably priced they are, at $49.00 USD, as of this writing.
Both sets of gloves looked very well designed and made to us, which isn’t surprising. Aesthetically/visually, we particularly dug the mesh warm-weather WetWorX Maritime Assault Gloves, since we liked the perforated/ventilated look, but both are nice. DR also likes that both models incorporate “wrap-up index finger sidewall for enhanced trigger feel” for combat/tactical shooting and “‘Gripmax’ thumb construction with conductive material [on thumb and index finger]”, which means the gloves give you “grip where you need it” and “conduction where you need it” for operating you smartphone or tablet computer. the S&S Precision WetWorx Maritime Assault Gloves are also designed to be very comfortable, as well as durable.
Defense Review also like the fact that they go on and off quick, just like a batting glove.
The following information on the WetWorX Maritime Assault Gloves comes from the S&S Precision website:

When we started the WetWorX Maritime Assault Gloves, the very first thing we wanted to ensure was the user wouldn’t feel a great disparity between their warm water and cold water gloves. Our materials were carefully chosen to provide significant commonality between the warm & cold gloves, while maintaining the climate centered traits necessary to operate in a wide variety of environments. Paying close attention to the human factors and ergonomics associated with maritime operations, we have produced gloves with outstanding wet grip, tactility, and range of motion. Built into the WetWorX gloves is the durability needed for hot climate operations and the heat retaining traits needed for cold water operations. Grab a set and see for yourself, you won’t be disappointed.
