Doing a lot of tactical carbine training? Is 5.56mm ammo getting too scarce and expensive for you? Well, DefenseReview (DR) came across a very cool company called Plinker Tactical at SHOT Show 2013 that may just be able to solve most, if not all, of your problems with their own .22LR tactical AR carbine/SBR (Short Barreled Rifle) and .22LR tactical AR-15-type accessories for the Smith & Wesson (S&W) M&P15-22 .22 LR AR-15 carbine.

The first .22LR tactical AR accessory John Morrison of Plinker Tactical showed us was their very interesting 35-round .22LR polymer magazine with bolt-carrier-group hold-open (BCG hold-open) that was designed and developed specifically for both their in-house .22LR tactical AR AND the Smith & Wesson M&P15-22.

The new their PT 35-rounder may come with a handy-dandy "Load Assist" magazine loading tool to ease and speed loading (unconfirmed/unverified), unless you have to buy it separately, which might be the case.

The PT 35-Round Mag looks pretty badass, assuming it's reliable. At present, that's a big if, since we haven't run any, yet–but the mag looks good, and looks are half the tactical battle.

Then, there's the aluminum Plinker Tactical Ambi-Charging Handle (Ambidextrous Charging Handle) for the S&W M&P15-22 and the Plinker Tactical .22LR tactical AR that looks well-designed and made.

The Plinker Tactical dedicated .22LR tactical AR (AR-15-type) carbine looks good as well, and DefenseReview very much looks forward to running one at the range, at some point. In any case, all of these .22LR tactical AR accessories should make training a lot cheaper.

In the meantime, check out the video below:
