We haven’t written about this company’s products for quite some time, but this one caught our attention earlier this year, at SHOT Show 2019. KRISS USA has designed and developed some 9mm Parabellum/9x19mm NATO and 10mm Auto Glock pistol mag (magazine) exensions called the MagEx2 that attach to standard Glock 17 (G17) and Glock 20 (G20) magazines, and bump your ammo capacity up to 40 rounds (+23 9mm) and 33 rounds (+18 rounds 10mm), respectively. DefenseReview (DR) got to check view and handle them at SHOT, and they look pretty good.
The proof of course, is in the pudding–or in this case, the shooting–and DR would very much like to have DR writer/contributor and chief new-product tester Jeff Gurwitch wring the 9mm MagEx2 mag extension out at the range. If he deems it reliable, it’s good to go.
KRISS USA will also apparently be offering MagEx2 complete magazine bundles, in addition to the “do-it-yourself kits”. The KRISS MagEx2 is made of advanced polymer composites, and is comprised of an inner and outer extension sleeve and extended spring.
The KRISS MagEx2 will also extend the mag capacity of KRISS Vector pistol mags. Suggested MSRP is $35.99 USD for the kits and $66.95 for the complete mags, as of this writing.
