Andy Chen of Condor Outdoor Products tactical gear showed DefenseReview (DR) a very cool prototype tactical glove called the “Syncro” at SHOT Show 2013 that enables the wearer to still operate smartphones and tablet computers. The Syncro Tactical Glove accomplishes this by incorporating a “special leather” that incorporates Touchtec Nanotechnology in the fingers, including, obviouly, the fingertips, which is “touchscreen-friendly. Additional features include polymer hard-shell knuckles, DuPont Nomex soft premium goatskin leather, padded palm and backs of fingers.
The fact that the Condor Syncro Tactical Gloves enable the wearer to still activate smartphone and tablet computer display screens is kind of a big deal, since it can save a lot of time and energy in the field during combat or tactical operations, where time really counts. It’s really a pain in the butt to have to take your gloves off, first, in order to operate your smartphone or tablet, especially when those devices are becoming increasingly important during both military combat and tactical ops. So, kudos to the boys at Condor Outdoor Products.
It’s DefenseReview’s understanding at present that this brand new tactical shooting glove is currently available for purchase.
