While we're on the subject of Condor Outdoor Products tactical gear, we should perhaps also mention the new Condor Bison Backpack, a combat/tactical pack that's tactical hydration-compatible and can carry a laptop computer, among other things (ammo, food, medical supplies, etc.). The new pack is essentially an updated and upgraded version, or product-improved version, if you will, of the old Condor Assault Pack (#134) and Shoulder Bag. Inside the Bison, there are some additional compartments with netting for organizing your stuff. The pack includes a "shoulder bag" that's attached with a snake clip. If you remove the shoulder bag, you can then access the MOLLE attachment system underneath, which is on the outside of the pack.
The Condor Bison pack also incorporates a wraparound double zipper system that goes all the way down and up the sides. This allows the user to access the inside of the bag from the side, as well. Speaking of the side of the pack, the Bison pack also features side pockets.
The Bison pack DefenseReview (DR) saw at SHOT Show 2013 was O.D. Green, and looked good. At an MSRP of approximately $80.00 USD, it's going to be a tough pack to beat.
The following information comes directly from the company website:
"The Condor Bison Backpack is an upgrade from our old Assault and Shoulder bag, integrating the sling as a pouch that can be attached or detached. It features a large compartment that uses a U-Shapped opening which allows you to grab things from the bottom of the bag without having to sacrifice the organization you worked hard to achieve. Also it features webbing on the front panel for extra pouches incase you need more than the additional sling bag. The Bison is perfect for any city exploration or hiking excursion.
