DefenseReview (DR) ran into Mikey Hartman of Hartman Ltd.. and CAA (Command Arms Accessories) at the Kalashnikov USA/CAA booth at SHOT Show 2019, and he was nice enough to take us through the latest and greatest, product-improved version of the CAA MCK Glock Micro Conversion Kit (next-gen Micro Roni Stabilizer) for Glock pistols with some help from Drew Hopkins. The latest MCK can very quickly and easily convert various Gen3, Gen4 and Gen5 Glock pistols into civilian-legal semi-auto-only pistol-caliber SBR (Short Barreled Rifle)/sub-carbine-equivalent shoulder-fired tactical weapons packages.

The new CAA MCK Glock now comes with the extended stabilizer stock as standard, rather than an add-on component. The charging handle now stays inside the MCK’s body, rather than dsconnecting, thus simplifying the system. The Glock pistol’s slide release area has been opened up, so the end-user/shooter can no utilize the pistol’s slide release directly. There’s also a spare magazine holder in the front, as well as an ergonomic, angled forward grip, or foregrip.

All the MCK Glock’s improvements looked solid and well-executed to us, and we also dug the old-school WWII-era US Army Air Corps shark face artwork on the front of it.

The MCK DR view and handled (and filmed) at the booth was outfitted with the Hartman/CAA MH1 Red Dot Reflex Sight/Optic w/User Interface. Described as “an advanced innovative reflex sight”, the MH1 offers a large field of view and a “unique wireless IR PTT button that controls activation and brightness of the reticle”, which uses “balanced lines at 3 & 9 o’clock and a centered red dot” to help keep the weapon on a vertical plane and enhance accuracy. The MH1 can also be charged via its USB port.
