Nomad 9 Frame Aftermarket Gen4 Glock 19 (G19)-Type Modular Pistol Grip Frame for Custom Pistol Builders (Video!)

At the tail end of SHOT Show 2019, DefenseReview (DR) came across a very interesting custom-Glock-pistol product called the Nomad 9 Frame, which is an aftermarket Gen4 Glock 19 (G19)-type pistol grip frame designed and developed by Nomad Defense Co. (NDC) for custom Glock pistol builders/smiths–and it looks pretty good. The Nomad 9 is feature-rich, with all the goodies a custom Glock pistol builder could want.

Want an extended beavertail grip tang with high-grip angling for the lowest bore axis possible? It’s got it. Want some nice grip texturing? It’s there. Want an enlarged trigger guard with increased trigger guard undercut? It’s got that, too. Interchangeable backstraps, enlarged mag (magazine) release button hole, enlarged/flared magwell…got it, got it and got it. You can watch DR’s video below, but we’ll just say the Nomad 9 looks pretty good to go, ya’ know?

Nomad Defense’s Andy Applebee was nice enough to take Defense Review through all the Nomad 9 Frame’s features, and you can see some of the custom guns that’ve been built with it in the accompanying photos.

The the Nomad 9 Frame is sold as a stripped frame and is compatible with Glock® 19 Gen4 components. Nomad 9 frame ships with three interchangeable backstraps, a trigger housing retention pin, and a backstrap retention pin.
