Like your Strike Industries SI AR Enhanced Ultimate Dust Cover (UDC) – 223 polymer AR-15 ejection port cover? Well, SI just upped tha ante with the new SI AR Aluminum Ultimate Dust Cover 223 (SI-AR-ALUDC-223). According to Strike Industries, “the SI-AR-ALUDC-223 takes everything you love about our polymer UDC’s to the next level. With an all-aluminum construction and CED coating for added durability and a cleaner finish, the Aluminum UDC is the modern evolution of standard mil-spec dust covers.”
And that’s not ALL, Monty. Oh, no, no. More importantly, it features a patent pending noise-reduction padding that allows for almost 100% silent activation. Pretty cool, and there’s really no reason to alert the bad guys.
The Strike Industries SI AR Aluminum Ultimate Dust Cover (UDC) 223’s other main claim to fame is that it features an adjustable detent screw that allows the end-user/shooter to adjust its opening force and compensate for receiver wear. And, just like the SI AR Enhanced UDC – 223 polymer ejection port cover, the SI AR Aluminum UDC 223 can be installed or removed in about 10 seconds. That’s fast!
