Not only does Geissele Automatics make some of the most badass high-end trigger groups for tactical AR-15 rifle/carbine/SBRs (Short Barreled Rifes), they also make some really cool lightweight "Super Modular Rail" systems, the latest and greatest of which is the Geissele Super Modular Rail MK4 13"/9.5" in both tactical Black and Sand (Desert Tan or Dark Earth/Coyote Brown?), which DefenseReview (DR) got to view and handle at SHOT Show
The barrel nut/mounting system is actually one of the key features of the Geissele 13" Super Modular Rail MK4, and is made out of hardcoat-anodized 7075 T6 aluminum with a GM specification for internal automatic transmission components.
The future production version of the Geissele Super Modular Rail MK4 will utilize the KeyMod universal interface system/tactical rail accessory hole system, per the latest industry standard.
Geissele also has a new nitrided lo-pro (low-profile) Super Gas Block that will fit underneath the new MK4 rail. How does it look? It's a Geissele, so it looks pretty damn slick, and will most likely work exactly as advertised. We don't know yet whether the Geissele Super Gas Block is carbo-nitrided or salt-bath-nitrided.
