The Pistol Beretta Should Make: Beretta Elite III?

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

While I was at Shot Show last week, I spoke with one of the Beretta guys at the company’s booth. This is what I told him: Very simply, DefRev would like to see a Beretta 9mm/.40 cal that looks like the Beretta Elite series(w/flush barrel and original style grip), and also incorporates the single action operation(w/ frame mounted safety) of the Beretta stock model, and light-mounting rail of the Vertec pistol. If Beretta were to make this gun, we believe it would be much more popular with serious pistoleros than any pistol Beretta currently offers. Those who stick to the 1911, BHP, and Glock would probably be willing to give a Beretta in this configuration a try.

DefRev does not like the slide mounted safety system and DA/SA operation of the current Elite series Berettas, and does not like the new grip configuration of the Vertec pistol.
