Speaking of new Midwest Industry (MI) M-LOK rails shown at SHOT Show 2015, DefenseReview (DR) also got to view and handle the new MI SCAR Rail Extension M-LOK Compatible tactical handguard/rail extension with front sight/BUIS (Back Up Iron Sight) cutout, which looked really good. DR readers may remember DR writer/contributor Toby Melville’s article on the standard MIL-STD-1913 “Picatinny” MI SCAR Rail Extension we published back in October, 2013, which was a very informative piece and worth reading for any FN SCAR 16/FN SCAR 16S (5.56x45mm NATO/.223 Rem.) or FN SCAR 17/FN SCAR 17S (7.62x51mm NATO/.308 Win.) owner.

The Midwest Industries MI SCAR Rail Etension M-LOK Compatible is simply an updated version for M-LOK lovers.
