Finally, it looks like there may just be an American-made alternative to Simunition for force-on-force training with semi-auto pistols, revolvers, and submachine guns. DefRev can’t wait to test this stuff out. This is what PDT Tech’s company literature has to say about their HydraMarker P.RO. Cartridges:
"Our line of (HydraMarker) P.R.O. Cartridges (patent pending) are a reduced energy, and nontoxic ammunition. Classified NLTA (Non-Lethal Training ammunition) cartridges for both IT’s (Inanimate Targets) and LT’s (Live Target) training applications. Choice of
either bullet configuration:
P.R.O. CARTRIDGE 9MM
A two-stage, mechanical operating cartridge for self-loading, and automatic “Condition Blue” firearms. Our 9MM (is) offered in three configurations.

Marking inert comprises of a water soluble material for easy clean up after shot assessments. Designed for both T’s and LT’s engagements. Offered in both 9MM and .38 cal.

Sounds pretty good. We’d like to test PDT Tech’s Hydramarker P.R.O. Cartridges and weapon (approved safety) conversion kits as soon as possible.
