DefRev has been using both the Hatch SOG-L50, SOG-L75 Operator "Shorty" tactical gloves, and SOGL-100, and SOGL-150 Operator tactical gloves w/gauntlet for awhile now, and we’ve been extremely impressed with them. The model I use the most as my personal shooting gloves are the SOG-L75 Operator "shorty" gloves in O.D. green. They are SUPER comfortable. And, they’re made so you can…

cut the front half of the trigger finger off of them (which I did), for better feel/control on the trigger while shooting. DefRev really likes this feature, and we’re extremely satisfied with allt he Hatch Operator tactical gloves we’ve received. On top of that, the company is great to deal with, truly top notch.

Here’s the more detailed skinny on these gloves from the company’s own literature:

SOG-L50 and SOG-L75 Operator Tactical Gloves:
The Operator™ "Shorty" is shortened, wrist-length version of our popular SOG-L150 Operator Tactical Glove for those who do not need the additional gauntlet protection.

The Shorty’s DuPont™ KEVLAR® construction provides excellent cut-resistance as well as heat and flash protection. It will not support flame or combust up to 800°F (427°C). The entire glove is sewn with non-melting nylon thread. A water resistant kangaroo leather palm provides superior abrasion and cut resistance. An elasticized wrist keeps the Shorty taut. Cut-ring stitching allows optional removal of the index finger for trigger control, without unraveling the remaining edge.

A second layer of leather in the palm provides additional protection and is ergonomically cut to prevent bunching while clenching objects. Foam padding in the heel of the palm cushions the shock of firearm recoil. Positive Grip non-skid material in the cradle of the hand provides a confident grip when using weapons or tools.

• Available in black (SOG-L50), or sage green (SOG-L75), sizes sm-xxlg
• Patents Pending

Hatch SOGL-100 and SOGL-150 Operator Tactical Gloves:
The Operator® is designed by and specifically for SWAT use and allows you to perform with surgical precision. The ergonomic fit, tactile sensation and features found in The Operator® are unmatched.
