March 28, 2009

Back in October 2008, DefenseReview published an article on the Numa Tactical Lo-Pro 204-01 tactical specs, which were Numa Sport Optics’ first crack at a tactical optic.

Well, at SHOT Show 2009, the good folks at Numa Tactical Eyewear were kind enough to provide us with a pair of…

tan Numa Tactical Lo-Pro 204-02 specs with "Smoke" lenses for T&E. The new Lo-Pro 204-02 specs represent an anti-ballistic upgrade with Z87.1 ANSI (American National Standards Institute)-compliant ballistic lenses for protection against projectile impact while shooting. The lenses also offer 100% UV protection against light wavelengths up to 400nm (nanometers), or "UV400" protection.

Numa Tactical Low-Pro 204-02 ballistic/tactical sunglasses are very light and comfortable on the face, thanks to Numa’s patented Swiss Material (TM) FlexFrame a.k.a. MemFibr high-strength, flexible "smash-proof" frame that’s about as close to "unbreakable" as you’re going to get in a sunglass frame.  Comfort and fit are enhanced by the rubberized nose and temple pads that work together to prevent slippage.

And, just as importantly, they look good–and lookin’ good’s half the battle.

The Low-Pro 204-02 has an MSRP of $99.99.
