Cobb Manufacturing has just introduced their new MCR (Multi-Caliber Rifle) family of weapons. The COBB MCR weapon system is patents pending, and was developed with military/tactical application in mind, but should prove just as popular with civilian recreational shooters and hunters. An operator can switch calibers by simply changing barrel assemblies. The MCR (Multi-Caliber Rifle) series is available in MCR-100, MCR-200, MCR-300, and MCR-400 series.
According to Cobb Manufacturing’s website, "you can switch calibers within the series you bought by changing out the barrels, or go to a larger or smaller caliber by family by switching out the complete upper assembly". The Cobb Manufacturing website contains more information and specs on the MCR. DefenseReview will attempt to get more detailed info and video on the Cobb MCR (Multi-Caliber Rifle) family ASAP, so we can pass it on to our readers.
Awhile back, DefenseReview published an email letter we received from Cobb Manufacturing’s CEO, Skip Patel, about the very interesting Cobb FA50(T) "Fast Action".50 Cal. (.50 BMG) anti-materiel/long-range-interdiction rifle. The Cobb FA50(T) is also known as the Cobb .50 anti-materiel rifle. Skip designed the Cobb .50.
