DefenseReview (DR) covered the Lantac Raven and Onyx tactical AR-15 billet reciever sets (and accessories) and Razorback custom Glock 17 (G17) and Glock 19 (G19) combat/tactical pistols last year, and we came away impressed with the look and feel of them. Well, this year, Lantac introduced their latest and greatest AR, the Lantac LA-SF15 14.5″ Forged Tactical AR-15 Rifle/Carbine with intermediate direct-gas-impingement (DGI) system barrel and SPADA-ML lightweight, slimline tactical handguard/rail system, and it looks like a really nice DGI AR package, that’s also a bit more affordable than the Raven billet-receiver AR.

The new Lantac SPADA-ML rail is narrower than the previous SPADA M ral, and has larger cutouts, making it even lighter in weight. DR doesn’t yet know whether or not the LA-SF15 14.5″ Forged AR will come with flip-up BUIS (Back Up Iron Sights), but we’ll try to find out.
