DefenseReview is eager to see a three-way match-up between a full-auto/select-fire version of the DSA Z4-GTC (Gas Trap Carbine) the Arms Tech Compak-16 subcarbine (and longer-barreled Arms Tech Recon Rifle) and the HK416 carbine/subcarbine (formerly known as "HKM4" or "HK M4" carbine/subcarbine) in an adverse conditions/high-round-count test.
To date, of the three, the
Compak-16 subcarbine is the only weapon that DefenseReview has run at the range. You can download and view some video footage of our session with the Compak-16 by right-clicking here and then clicking on "Save Target As" to download the file to your system.
Click here to read about the Arms Tech Compact Police Carbine (CPC) which is the semi-auto-only version of the Compak-16 subcarbine.
Speaking of the Arms Tech Compact Police Carbine (CPC), it would be interesting to see how the semi-auto-only Z4-GTC performs in comparison to the CPC and semi-auto-only version of the HK416 carbine/subcarbine in a side-by-side adverse conditions/high-round-count test.
