Latest Russian Small Arms Give Western Counterparts a Run for Their Money.

Russia’s making some pretty neat stuff lately. DefRev found a page on Milparade’s site that highlights some of the new weaponry. Weapons featured are the GSh-18 pistol(which looks a lot like the Steyr M/S series pistols and holds 18 rounds of 9x19mm in the magazine), RMB-93 forward-cocking shotgun(with magazine tube ABOVE the barrel), AGS-30 automatic grenade launcher, RPO-A Shmel rocket …

Sako M95 Assault Rifle. Is it the last of its kind?

The Sako M95, standard rifle of the Finnish armed forces, might just be the best assault rifle in the world(besides the Russian AN-94, AK-107, and AK-108, which are all not yet really in production). Available in both 7.62x39mm and 5.56x45mm, the M95 is basically an updated Kalashnikov, or rather, a Kalashnikov taken to its ultimate conclusion. Preceded by the M90 …

Kalashnikov USA Unveil’s Its New All Russian AK-103.

The new AK-103’s begin life as Saiga 7.62x39mm carbines, imported by Kalashnikov USA. They’re then sent out to DGS, Inc. of Fort Myers, Florida. The new DGS conversions are supposed to …

It’s called LSS, and it’s one of the coolest little "accessory" products I’ve seen in awhile. LSS stands …

EOTech Electro-Optics Technologies at TREXPO East

The EOTech “HOLOgraphic Diffraction Sight” (HDS) is beyond a doubt the highest-speed, lowest-drag optical sight for tactical shoulder weapons that is currently available. Utilizing the same technology as the Heads-Up Display (HUD) in modern fighter jets, the HDS projects a red holographic circular reticle with center dot directly onto the target. This is very different from standard red dot and …
